Attention to detail outstanding, controversial in it’s approach (Hitler had a nice side?) and powerful to watch. Draws forth questions about the media’s potential to turn mere men into idols. Yes, I honestly think that people out there see Hitler as an idol due to his media exposure. This film tries to reveal that Hitler was just a man, worthy of no more than any other and thus is intended to dispel such mysticism. I believe it succeeds wholeheartedly, but the argument is that actually any media exposure whether negative or positive will lead to continued admiration by some parties… the way to end Hitler and the neo-nazis is to forget him and never mention his name or his party name again. Very unlikely to reach that point in our life time.
