Desperation

Finished this one the other week. I have to admit, when compared to The Dead Zone or Salem’s Lot, I thought this one didn’t start off so well. Think it was because King introduced so many characters in such a short amount of time that I felt like I didn’t know who to vouch for. After the main characters had been profiled though it got back to normal; quality, gripping and thought provoking writing. At the end of the novel I was moved, I’ll admit it. This was a special one, next it’s ‘It’. Can’t wait!
