First in The Dark Tower collection… short and sweet. To be honest I totally relate to King’s comments about this book… I found the second, The Drawing of the Three, much more more engaging than this one and it is a little confusing at the beginning. I suppose it’s just that the Roland is not clear in your mind as a character so the narrative feels a little lost. By the end of the book, however, you want to know more and more about him so I guess that’s just part of the process!
